My Story

Many things in life we can't explain away. Ever since I was young, I knew Somebody was looking out for me, even though I grew up poor with a single mom. She made sure I understood who God was- a paternal hand orchestrating the perfect balance of difficulty (to challenge me) and victory (to encourage me). So when a creative project comes together into a final masterpiece, I know I owe that creativity to the great Creator of all things. Humility and awe, in the shadow of the Divine is what drives me to be an honest and hard-working guy, an understanding boss, and a servant to my clients. The late missionary Jim Elliot once said, "He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep, in order to gain that which he cannot lose." Elliot was speaking of trading momentary pleasure for things of interminable and enduring value: peace, love, kindness, joy, forgiveness, eternal life. Even though he was murdered by the very people to whom he was trying to share this message with, his words live on, that we who read his story might be encouraged to live our lives for a higher purpose than ourselves. Jesus Christ instructed His own followers to spread his story of love and redemption, for deep within the heart of man is a darkness that we will spend our entire lives in vain trying to stifle. It's not enough to be a good person. But Jesus wasn't just a good man who lived 2000 years ago. He is alive today, and He wants to give purpose and passion to your life. Anybody who asks Him can be His friend and won't have to be afraid of uncertainty in life or death. You can learn more about Jesus in The Gospel of John.
